Advice may address a single specialized subject area or be wide-ranging and address strategic business issues. May also include support in implementing any agreed-upon solutions.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Leading and managing a consulting practice
Leading and managing consulting teams and/or consulting assignments Completing consulting assignments.
Consulting: level 4.
Takes responsibility for elements of a larger consulting assignment. Collaborates with clients on formal or informal consulting assignments. Understands client requirements by collecting data and conducting analysis. Works collaboratively to develop and implement solutions. Seeks to meet client needs within assigned area of responsibility. Ensures proper understanding and appropriate use of proposed solutions.
Consulting: level 5.
Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, conducting analysis, and solving problems. Identifies, evaluates, and recommends options. Collaborates with and assists stakeholder groups through formal or informal consulting agreements. Strives to fully meet client needs and implements solutions as needed. Enhances client capabilities and effectiveness by ensuring full understanding and appropriate use of proposed solutions.
Consulting: Level 6.
Manages the provision of consulting services and/or a team of consultants. Provides advice and guidance to consultants and/or client in the delivery of consulting services in their areas of expertise. Interacts with and maintains relationships with clients. Concludes consulting agreements/contracts and manages their completion and termination.
Consulting: level 7.
Directs the strategy and operations of a significant consulting practice. Oversees practice development, proposal development, sales, client management, and consulting services on a wide range of matters.
